Both gmk_session and XSRF-TOKEN are marked Secure (sent only over HTTPS); gmk_session is also HttpOnly (not readable by page scripts) and neither is shared with any third party.

3. Cookies from sign-in providers

If you sign in with Google or LinkedIn, that provider's own site may set its own cookies during the sign-in step, under its own cookie/privacy policy — we don't control those. See Google's policy and LinkedIn's own cookie policy for details.

4. How to control cookies

  • Essential cookies (gmk_session, XSRF-TOKEN) can't be turned off without breaking sign-in and basic security — if you block them in your browser, you won't be able to stay signed in.
  • NEXT_LOCALE is optional — clearing it just means we'll show the default language (English) again until you choose otherwise.
  • You can clear or block cookies at any time in your browser's settings. Most browsers let you view, delete and block cookies per site.
  • Deleting your account is covered separately in our data deletion instructions.

5. Changes to this policy

We'll update this page whenever the cookies we set change, with a new "Last updated" date.
